In the campuses of National Presence of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, undergraduate courses are structured through the Special Program of Admission and Academic Mobility-PEAMA. The objectives of this program are to strength educational processes and to train socially committed professionals, according to regional and national contexts.

AREA OF INFLUENCE

At the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Tumaco the PEAMA program covers Chocó and Putumayo departaments. The municipalities of Barbacoas, El Charco, Guaitarilla, La Tola, Magüi Payan, Mallama, Mosquera, Olaya Herrera, Pizarro, Providencia, Ricaurte, Roberto Payan, Santa Bárbara y Tumaco at Nariño department, and the municipalities of Guapi, López de Micay y Timbiquí at Cauca department.

STAGES

INITIAL STAGE:

Once admitted, the student will begin studies at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Tumaco where she will take some courses. This initial stage may vary for each student according to their performance in the entrance examination, the requirements of the curricular program to which they have been admitted, and the availability of the programs that may be offered at the campuses of National Presence.

MOBILITY STAGE:

The student will carry out the academic mobility corresponding to his academic program, he will continue the courses of the study plan established in the Headquarters offered by the program to which Bogota, Medellin, Manizales or Palmira were admitted.

FINAL STAGE:

To complete the program, the student will travel to the campuses of National Presence in order to carry out their degree work, that will be preferably develop on topics of interest to their region.

REQUIREMENTS

• To have completed the last (2) years of high school in a school located in the area of influence of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Tumaco.
• To reside in the area of influence of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Tumaco at least during the two years prior to the admission process.
